Welcome back to our blog!
Time flies and it's already the middle of February! We have another member Monday for you all!
Today we will be introducing Gabbie Rohde, an undergraduate student at Marquette University studying Biomedical Engineering.
Gabbie is working on our front end development, helping with the overall layout and development of our web app pages.
We asked Gabbie a few questions about being involved with MassVaxx...
Q: What is your favorite part about being involved here?
A: "I really enjoy learning more about UI development and the constant feedback received as well as seeing a project's starting and development steps. Not to mention all the great people I'm meeting :)"
Q: What is one skill you're working on or one thing you've learned while being a part of MassVaxx?
A: "I've learned a lot about working with Vue and how to go forward with UI development and testing. I've also learned how important our project is and how much of a positive impact it will make on the community."
Q: What is the most challenging part of working with MassVaxx?
A: "It's been difficult to balance school, other leadership positions, and work with the project"
Q: Where is the first place you will travel post-COVID?
A: "I have tentative plans to go to Dubai next winter. Otherwise I hopefully will be either in California or Utah for an internship in the summer."
Q: What has been a non-work related "win" of yours during COVID?
A: "I've spent a lot of quality time with my family this summer. A bit random, but I've been able to almost perfect my pretzel rolls recipe during covid"
Thank you Gabbie for all your creative solutions and valuable work on our software system!
